What is NBAA payback

I can not find it on the web.
I believe a portioj of the entry goes toward big bass

On the weekend the cost is $115 +$10 for BB.  Total of $125.

Our first tournament was 38 boats and first place payback was $1140 and we paid back 8 places.  Plus we had two BB payouts.

There have been heated discussions about this on another site(comparing two different trails and their payback).  But to summarize, I believe the payback at the ramp is 75-80% of the entries and 10-15% goes to fund the championships etc.
