Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Hi everyone

I have an Evinrude Etec 150 HO on my Stratos. I have had to replace fuel injectors twice on the motor in under two years of owning the boat. It is under warranty, so it hasn't been too big an issue, except for the inconvenience / annoyance.

I don't know much about motors in general and I want to know if I am doing something wrong in the day to day use or care of the engine that is causing these issues? A quick google search makes it seem there are issues with the fuel injectors in the Etec. I still want to know if there is anything I can do to prevent this from occurring in the future? Any tips or suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Firefighter Jeff

Sorry, but I can't really answer your question, but I have had a similar experience.  I have a 2007 200 HO and last summer it wouldn't stay started.  They ran all kinds of checks, did a history on the motor and Evinrude decided to replace the injectors.  Under warranty, thank goodness.  $600 each would have hurt.  These injectors seem to run at a little higher idle.  But I still have a little miss that I notice.  It does stay running though.  :)

Do you put any kind of fuel treatment in your tank, like evinrude 2+4 fuel conditioner ?
