Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Well,

We hit the mile roads
Launched at the St Clair Cutoff MDNR ramp
It's only my second time fishing LSC  so I have no spots

Ran out to 8 fow of water and started throwing
My Friend hooked up on a nice LM on a dropshot and I caught a pike on the rattle trap
So we started moving south
And we started to hit the SM
It all started to break lose when I started drop shoting a Revolution Goby that I bought off of Scott at the fishing shows
Not sure what the name of the color was. But darn it was catching fish after fish
And they were upgraded (bigger fish)
Ran out of them and we tried some other gobies that I had caught nothing on them
Caught a few on the Gulp fry worm and cranks
Nothing on tubes at all? and we threw allot
And then we started fishing the Revolution drop shot worm and picked up the rest on them.

Boated about 30 SM and a few LM
Thought the best bite was in 8 FOW drop shotting around 10 mile
Could have done allot better if I had more of the Revolution Gobies

But all in all
Great weather and the best SM fishing that I've fished
And I love the new Kistler drop shot rod

River Rat

That's great to hear you caught some fish on the gobies and worms! Were the gobies dark smoke or more of a rootbeer-ish? Any pictures?

I sent you a msg thru FB too from earlier.

Thx,

Scott

The color of the Gobies was Lake Perch
THere were like Magic
While they lasted I had a fish on every cast.

Right before we started to hit them hard
We noticed a pack of boats north and a pack south
and thought we might be in the wrong spot (alone)
But after a few fish we had 10 boats join us.
And I thought just Walleye guys packed fished
