Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

I have a minn kota maxxum pro 101 tm on the skeeter that i just bought and finnally got it out on the water. The steering cables in the TM seem very loose and sloppy, is there a way to adjust them or do i need to buy new cables? Also, I it seems a bit noisy...is this normal?

Thanks for your help,

Shaun

There are two tensioners under the pedal.  Flip it over and you can adjust the tension, etc using them.

i have the same one, for sale actually, it isnt noisy at all.  great motor.  I had an issue with the motor brushes last year.  sometimes it wouldnt start unless you tapped it.  KD outdoors fixed it for me.  so maybe the noise is because of the motor brushes.  that thing goes through weed like they arent even there.

The adjustment (single screw adjusts both cables) for the 101 is on the foot pedal right under where the cable and wiring enter the foot pedal. Be careful when you tighten or you can damage the cables, there should be a little end play. It's not difficult just take your time and adjust a little at a time, Good luck.
