Inland Waterway Bass Fishing Closure Defeated

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Although shes not old enough to be a member on here yet, most of you know her. Today is Veronicas 10th birthday. I just want to wish her a wonderful day, and say, there is nobody in the world I would rather spend time with then her. I love her as my main fishing partner. She has become the darling of Great Lakes Bass. Its been 2 years now that we have been hanging around. Next year, the juniors for her. I cant wait. Happy Birthday Sweety.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
