Are you getting excited!

Twas the night before the Classic, and McKinnis was pacing,
While B.A.S.S. fans in Cajun Country had their hearts a racing.  
KVD was tucked but tossing in his bed,
With visions of those raw oysters dancing in his head.
Ike was on the phone talking with Becky,
While new baby Vegas waited for a diaper checky,
The rest of the field were snug in their beds,
With visions of five pounders dancing in their heads.
Come morning what will their wondering eyes see?
Lots of fans, and Dave Mercer, the new MC.
The excitement will build,
Dave sends them off in a flash,
All 50 anglers hoping to capture the crown and the cash.
Each day I'll be glued to the computer in my house,
Keyboard at the ready, right alongside the mouse.
I'll have to wait to watch it on the TV.
There's a week long delay,
For both you and for me.
But then we'll see, the winner up on that big stage,
Fist pumping and jumping hardly acting his age.
Then what will we hear as the lights fade that last night?
"I can't believe I won the Classic, I love you all, good-night!"
