I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

I spent Saturday on Koontz Lake and yesterday I was sick and had to call off work and heal my self at Lake Wawasee  ;). Nevertheless, the weather is sure fun ;D.  I saw a ton of beds but everyone of them were empty. I ended up catching several fish from both lakes, but the majority of them were small. The keepers I did catch were 14-15". Just a week ago a lot of fish were on beds and those that weren't were closeby. Now, it seems they've abandoned the beds. I got a question for you all, what will it take to get those fish back on beds keeping the extended forecast in mind: 60 degrees and rain! Will a dominant pattern of bed fishing ever come back this year? Or is tough fishing in the forecast until summer patterns hit?

Just a few hours of sunshine and ill bet they'll start to move back up

And when is it you figure the sun will shine again?
Wawasee - Wawasee - Wawasee - that's all I here anymore.
Wife says I'm irritable.Asked her to kindly be quiet. Surely I don't sound irritable to you guys. ???
Best to head out into the garage before she comes back. She's been a bit touchy ever since I zeroed Sat on James. :-[
Everybody's in love with Wawasee this spring.Maybe I should hustle down there. Can't imagine 2 zeros in a row..... >:(
Look past what they want you to see.

Is there another body of water in N. Indiana worth fishing?  ;) The thing I do like about Wawasee is how much I can learn about it. Seems like everytime I'm there I learn something. I can't say that about other lakes in our area that I've fished 100+ times.

They tell me if you take off your windsheilds and motor cowling you may be able to get to those bass in the beaver ponds.
I thought I'd mention that in case you were running out of options down there..... ;D

I've been with someone who used his big motor to make hole in a beaver dam before... something I don't plan on copying...

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
