Some Crazy footage  :o

That was in a town called Toowoomba, located approximately 2hrs drive south west from where I live.  As a point of note the guy that drove his white 4wd out of the flood water was actually engaging 4WD not letting air out as described in the video (I have the same vehicle)

Those floods whilst not as big as the ones in 1974 had a devestating effect on the State, Billions of $$ I would envisage needs to be spent to rebuild.  75% of Queensland was declared a disaster zone  :o  Crazy!!   As a reference Queensland is about the same size as Texas.  It's currently Summer here in Australia and with a climate similar to Florida and with heaps of humidity storms are not unusual however that rain event that occured was freakish!!

Anyway I have rambled on enough now thanks for sharing the video it still amazes me just how powerful mother nature can be.  And  to think we were just coming out of one of the worst droughts in history too.

Stay safe everyone!

Don't let your shadow be the only thing you cast today!

What a terrible disaster. My heart goes out to all affected.

I was just watching the real story of Sanctum last night. Another Aussie 'adventure' that occurred due to  a 100 years of rain in a few minutes or some crazy thing (if I remember the show correctly).

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
