Sorry guys long story short my family has had three unknown deaths in it in the past 6 weeks not that this is an excuss just the truth. So I need some help on Aug 7th at Hardy Pond. We will be taking around 60 vets fishing for the day.

The event is called Hookin up Heros. It is set as a Military Veteran Appreciation Event, I am a Vet myself and know that when I returned from the gulf I would of loved for a group of people to take me out for a day on the lake.

To sign up or for more details you can find them at www.michigan.gov/newaygo

Thanks in advance for all the help

This is what the calendar event link says:

Newaygo State Park--Hook'n Up Hero's Fishing Event

On August 7 Newaygo State Park will host a Hook'n Up Hero's Fishing event. For more details contact the park at 231-856-4452.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

I wish I could help since I'm active duty now and would like to thank those who served before me but we have drill weekend that day so I will be at work. Please let me know if there is anything I can help with prior or if any other events are planed in the future.
