This is the second week of the Lake St. Clair webTV Network and the format is beginning to take shape.  It's been a lot of fun doing this and it should be a fun summer.  This week I have an interview with Jeff Gibson and Dan Mason who won the NBAA St. Clair Open and the Monster Quest tournaments last week.

Tune in to Lake St. Clair webTV this week and see interviews from the first (Clauser/Robiadek) and second place (Babiarz/Goetsch) teams from the NBAA Double Barrel Shootout last Saturday.  Also get the inside scoop from tournament director Paul Sacks on how the Double Barrel has increased the number of tournament payouts this year.  Go to www.combat-bassfishing.com and click on the video to see the interviews from last week's St. Clair Open and by 9pm on Friday, the latest from the Double Barrel Shootout and more.

This week we discuss the NBAA Div. 42 tournament weights, get some info on the new Lake St. Clair fishing chart from Waterproof Charts, catch up on an interview with the first place winners for week one and the bait they were using then finish the program off with some video from the NBAA tournament on week one caught on IKam video glasses.  To see the show go to www.combat-bassfishing.com and click on the video (updated weekly by 9pm).

Purely amateur hour but it works to get the word out about news items throughout the week plus my business stuff.  Not much at all original about it really.  The model for it would be ESPN Sportscenter, just for grass roots local tournaments though.  The interviews and latest news from around the fishery is the fun stuff.  No plans to make it anything more than that.

The real credit though goes to some great people who care about the sport and how we can help each other to make things better.  I believe the saying is true that "no-one makes it on their own" and even though "making it" seems a long way off at this time the journey is so much richer when shared with others.  The news concept isn't original but the motivation to finally get up and do the project is unique in its own way and that credit goes to a person who cares enough to elevate those people around them.

If I do anything right my hope is that it honor them and the many friends and associates who have been supportive over the years and helped to make the Combat Bass Fishing concept come together.
