Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

I have only been to this show once, and it was for one day.  we parked in a parking garage across the street from the center.  i have a bunch of stuff to bring in and have no idea where to go.  i dont want to carry all that crap and make 5 trips from across the street.  do they have vendor parking?  or can we at least pull up in the back or something to unload?  and if so, how do i get back there?

I know they have two big bay doors on the north side.  Across from the post office.  Its been a few years so I dont remember that much.  But that its were they bring in the boats and bigger stuff in and out of.  Maybe you could pull in there and unload. Then go park.  I dunno, maybe someone knows a little more about it.  Good Luck!

When I set up the TBF booth, they had the big doors open on the north side of the building.  The boats and trailers all went in throught there.  They had us little guys park in the basement (entrance was also on the north side) and use their carts to haul the stuff up the elevator, then to where it belonged.

Go in off Michigan Ave on the north side to the underneath garage. Then get a cart and take your stuff up through the freight elevators.

thats what they made us do is go to the basement and use the elevators then charged 8 dollars to park for 4 hours while we set up..so if you can just pull in and get teh stuff on the dock you are better off....then the free parking lot is 5 blocks away with a shuttle every 15 minutes parking lot is on seward

I don't think anyone will get in the loading dock tomorrow without a boat or trailer, and a note from their Mom saying why they didn't come in Wednesday. I think you'll have to park downstairs. Last entrance into the building parking garage.

The freight elevator guy is very friendly. Should be a cart or two waiting there, or travel upstairs to the hall to bring one back down. He'll help.
