Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Kota used these on Erie with the cross tail to win the Bassmaster a couple summers ago. The pictures on the web don't really do them the justice they deserve because I got some in the mail the other day and you would think the things are real! I dropped one in a tank at the Lunker's show this weekend and people said they were waiting for them to swim away lol Just something worth checking out. [REMOVED - see No Links Policy List] has good pictures and they always have great shipping, the link takes you to the superpin tail at jackall's website because I think the photos are a little better, http://www.jackall-lures.com/products/soft_superpin_tail.html

wow   6 for 8.99.   out of my price range.   let us know how they hold up.

jgip087

They don't hold up bad at all, only problem is fish throwing them off the hook at times. The price is actually not bad if you look at other similar lures. Mister Twister even has some like this but not of the quality 6 for 7.99 and these are 7 for 8.99. Bass Trix Fat Minnow SJB also run 7.99 for 5.

if you start paying attention, most of the baits that we are used to using are increasing in price.  I used to think we (nemesis) priced our stuff fair for the market we were into, but now seeing all these mass produced baits selling for $6-8 a bag makes me wonder.  I went walking through bass pro the other day and a lot of the stuff i used to buy for $4-$5 a bag is now a couple bucks higher.  American made baits are catching up, in price at least, to the japanese bait makers.  about the only 2 companies selling quality baits at a low price anymore is berkley and zoom but even berkley has higher priced stuff in the alive baits.  bottom line, if you see it, and you like it, and you know you can catch fish on it, buy it!  chances are you will not regret it.

Jackalls stuff is nothing short of stellar.  Just like LC, worth every penny.

may have to go back to 1/2 senkos.  at least soon i will get a senior discount...  or live bait I can get lot of them free when it rains.

Jeremy

Ordered some on Friday, baby bass and perch I think. I got some flick shake worms on Friday and they look nice too. Can't wait to fish em and see how they fare.
