Getting close to show time. I think there will actually be quite a few interesting things to see for any outdoors person at the new and improved Outdoorama - different than the old show years ago.

Big Buck Night should interest any of you deer hunters out there. Come out the see the huge bucks that did not get away!! You can also get your own trophy scored by CBM at the show. Just bring in your buck, bear, turkey or elk. There will even be a live demonstration of field dressing a deer for those of you who would like to learn that skill!

I really enjoy seeing the live wildlife! That has always been my favorite part of the Outdoorama shows over the years. Wildlife is cool!

Want to take a trip? More trip outfitters at Outdoorama - all types of trips and opportunities. Also, another great show to come out and check out the latest boats. Who amongst us doesn't like to look at new boats?!? Lots of antique boats, motors and fishing equipment, and a traditional skills demonstration. There will be quite a few lake dweller accessories on display too.

And speaking of lake dweller accessories, your entry into Outdoorama also includes entry into the Cottage and Lakefront Living Show held in tandem with Outdoorama.

A coworker of mine will be involved in the Ultimate Air Dogs. I've always been partial the labs myself and had a few that would launch into the bay to retrieve a downed duck years ago. Mark Romanack will be doing live demonstrations with his trained lab throughout the show.

There's a wide variety of interesting seminars and demonstrations for most outdoors persons at Outdoorama. Fishing (bass, walleye, musky, panfish), fly fishing, hunting, kayaking, gun safety and handling, dog training, food plotting, even shooting sports! Truly something for everyone!

While you're there, sign up for a chance at the Viking Express Pop-Up Trailer.

Don't forget to bring the kids for the trout pond and virtual fishing. Many, many a youngster has enjoyed both activities in previous Outdoorama

GLB Members,

I still have a very limited number of " buy one get one free " tickets for the OutDoorRama.  As before, first come, first served.  Please email me or call to reserve.

And as always, please stop by the booth and say hi, especially if I have not met you yet.

And yes, please stop by Wonderland Marine West and say hi to Ralph. You can't miss him. Another redhead (like me)... only taller. Much taller.

Wayne Carpenter will also be here with all of his top quality custom colors and baits at Xtreme Bass Tackle.
