Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Can someone tell me how to get information on the Tuesday evening tournaments on Belleville Lake?

Skulley

Lonestar, first I would like to welcome you to the board because I see this is your first post.  The Tuesday Nite Belleville Tournament is run by Doug Arter.  He does have a handle or name here on GLBass.com.  I think he goes by champion_206.  He has been running it for about 3 or 4 years now.  I have not fished one since he has taken it over as it is hard to get to for me since it runs from 5pm with weigh-in at 9pm.  I believe the entry is $50.  I think the Big Bass Pot is another $10.  It is a team tournament.  If Doug is running it under the same rules as before, you have to fish 10 tournaments out of 16 with the same partner to make the classic which is usually the 2nd or 3rd week in September.  I would advising writing Doug a PM through this website and ask him the specifics.  That will be your best source of info.

I have fished the Tue. tourneys for the last 3 years. They get a very good turn out aprox. 30 plus boats the start of the year. Usually by the end of the season around 20 or so. Big dog is correct about the 50 dollars but that number includes big bass. It starts the first Tuesday after memorial day and runs 16 weeks. A good bunch of guys but be sure to bring your A game. Allot of these guys and gals have been fishing this same water for many years.  ;D
