I would deeply appreciate you fisherman's prayers for my father who is going to have a heart valve replacement Monday morning at the Cleveland Clinic.  He is 82 going on 40 ( very strong ) and we look forward to many more fishing trips together. Thanks and  God Bless,  Steve Clapper

Our prayers sent Steve. He's at one of the very best places. Based on watching you fish the Great Lakes and making those long runs, doing whatever it takes, I can only imagine he must be one strong man. Please give us an update when you are able.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Thanks to all for the prayers for my father!!!  He came through the valve replacement very well but is having a bit of a problem with some bleeding at present. When the nurse began to wake him up he became anxious and his blood pressure skyrocketed causing the bleeding to begin.  The nurse said this was common but he will never convince my mother of that.  I am here at the Clinic as I type and will update you guys as I learn something.  Thanks again and God Bless,  Steve

We'll keep it up as long as you need it. I hope things settle down for him (and you).

A couple years ago my grandpa, well into his 80's, had FIVE bypasses on his heart. Only reason they even attempted it is he was also 'going on 40' like yours. We are blessed to still have him with us and he still lives in his own place and everything! Prayer is powerful and here's one more sent from me...
