Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

anyone been to lakeview campsite in ludington on hamlin lake?

Dan

I had a close friend who stayed there this past weekend. They have a ramp and dockage for access to Hamlin. He said it was a quiet little campground. Any other Hamlin questions give me a holler. I have a cabin about 40 min. from there and have fished it many times. Know Ludington rather well also. The Ice Mountain Tear Drop Tournament Trail just had a tournament there Sunday. Should have an article up on the teardropbass.com website within the next few days. Have some previous year articles up on the site now.

Thanks Dan, can you ask your friend how the bathrooms/showers were? My wife rates campgrounds by how clean the bathrooms are. I really want to get to hamlin, but gotta make sure momma's gonna be happy 'cause she don't fish.

I usually stay there when I go to hamlin. Nice campground. Showers are nice. Can't say for the womens...Ramps not that great but it's only a few minutes to victory park. The people that own it are great. Pesky raccoons though. I woke up to one staring me in the face last time I was there. He ripped an hole in the side of my tent and decided to come in and help himself to whatever he could find. My bother in law started throwing shoes at him till he decided to leave! He expanded the hole a bit more on the way out! Anyone know how to fix a 8" slash in a tent?

Nice campground, nice people unless you pick a Gus Macker weekend then not so nice. Been going there for better than 25 years on and off. Call ahead, sometimes it gets busy. Always full on hollidays. Ramp only for little boats. Best one is Wison Park. Victory ok except in evening when the bullhead fishermen get upset when you try and pull your boat out. This time of year upper lake full of weeds.

thanks for the input guys, really appreciate it.
