Anyone else getting them? So far this am I have received 50 emails from b2ev0 at greatlakesbass 'dot' com, I think I'm getting them because I subscribed to get notifications when there is a new blog entry in the blogging section. Anyone else getting this crap???

I deleted a spammer yesterday. It is probably a robot because their were 12 gambling comments. I will go back in see if they got around my ban settings somehow.

Unfortunately, thanks to these losers, it is a never ending battle. I can remove your notification setting probably for now, or you can until I completely stop this latest attack.

This was the largest spam attack I've ever had. Sorry about that. I keep up-to-date on all the blacklists with automatic updates, but the spammers work hard to stay ahead of efforts to block them.

I've changed some settings that should stop this particular spam source for at least a little time (I hope).

I don't like them very much either. People ask me sometimes, 'what exactly is it you do that you have to work on all the time...?'

And we appreciate every thing you do here on this site, especially when it comes to these unreasonable robot spammers.
When you are in any contest you should work as if there whereto the very last minute a chance to loose it.

No spam here,  maybe it's because I'm just a fry or whatever it is.  lolol

No... it was only people who had marked to receive notifications on the blog (and me of course). This/these spammer(s) used a robot program to post almost 200 replies to one post on the blog. Because I can't integrate membership, I've left replies open to even guests on the blog, but disabled posting links. That stops most spammers, but not all. Nothing stops them all. Unfortunately.
