Kent Lake for the opener??

anyone up for an outing on Kent ( my favorite lake  )  on the opener Apr 25.  Langer and i fished there last year with the EBA and really did good.  maybe meet in the morning at the east launch,  then retire later in the day to a local watering hole ( HOOTERS ) and tell stories.  I am planning on fishing and Cheetam is going to ask mom if he can go.  nothing serious just fun.

i just read an article from the Kent Lake Daily News.  They say there has been a new law passed prohibiting the use of Yamamoto Senkos cut in half on a weighted EWG hook.  man, whats he gonna do?

Ther used to be a c&r season on 6 lakes in Michigan that opened on April 1st. Now all of Michigan is open to catch and release on the last Sat. in April.

I drove down jefferson from 9 mile  down to Detroit today. That lake was pretty. I wished I was out there then. That launch at 9 mile in back of Fishbones has a long walk back to your Truck after you launch your boat. You can launch for $10.00. I'm headed to Lakeville tomorrow.

I'm with you Seth and Tom I am chomping at the bit to get out there. Reels are oiled and greased new line is put on with care and lure boxes are ready to go!
