Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

The elderly gentleman I used to have clean and repair my reels is in poor health and is unable to provide this service any longer.

Can any GLB'ers point me in the right direction...??     Is there anyone in Michigan that repairs and cleans reels.......that is good at doing it...??      I used to have great success when sending my reels to BPS years ago.......but I didn't see any advertisement about reel repair in their catalog.

Thanks for your assistance.

One of our forum members "Reel man" does just what you ask.
Send him a pm and he'll tell how to get him the reel, price, etc.

Everybody that I've talked to from this forum that has dealt with him has been more than happy.

So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

That is good to know.  I will probably need some cleaned at the end of this season.

I have sent all my reels to REEL_MAN over the past several years and he has done a superb job cleaning and repairing them. Quality work, affordable pricing and a quick turnaround. I highly recommend him.

Peace.

I too, have used the expert services of Mr. Valentine. He does his work through The Angler Inc., 7430 S. SR 327, Hudson, IN 46747  (260) 351-2877

I just sent in 8 Curados and got them back within a week all cleaned and ready to go. Also got some good advice on what not to use on them for lubrication should someone try on their own. Twasn't me, but a buddy who shipped three reels with mine. I wouldn't know where to squirt any grease. I trust in the Reelman's expertise and don't touch them mechanically.
