Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

They are fishing in northern Indiana on Lake Maxinkuckee and there is no season on Pike here in Indiana. I don't know what type of blades they were throwing, but most of the time I throw a Silver Buddy or a Vib E. I also throw a homeade one that my buddy makes from a Netcraft mold a lot. The two staple colors are plain gold or silver. Other colors work, but as far as I am concerned these are the only two colors that are needed. We experiment a little with prizm tape in red or chartreuse and they do work well with those colors added. We also add red eyes to them.

When you are in any contest you should work as if there whereto the very last minute a chance to loose it.

Pike season opens up in MI on the last saturday in April, along with walleye and trout.  So, for now you must fish for dogfish, extra large bluegills and maybe a crappie or two, which I have caught on cranks by the way!   ;D

The blades we were throwing differ. I think Tcook was throwing a silver buddy. I myself prefer to throw Reef Runner, Cicadas. They seem to have a tighter wobble in the water and really throw off some nice flash and vibration. I play with 2 or 3 color foils.green, blue, and chartruese. Umm the water depths.. any where from 3 feet down to about 15. the smallies really havent made a good move up yet. a few cruisers when the sun pops but no big ones. a few more degrees and they'll start showin up. Lk Michigan is about 3 or 4 weeks out yet id say. my buddy went there yesterday i havent talk to him so ill let ya know.-skeeterman-

Jeff, basicly what skeeterman said on Maxi, we can make a trip out to LM for sure preferably when its prime time and forecasts for calm seas.

Lake Michigan can be awesome in the spring and fall when water gets between 50 and 60 degrees in my opinion so give it a try once you see those temps on the local weather. They will still bite in the 40s or temps highert han 60 and they are always around but its like looking for a needle in a haystack.
