I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Man, sure has been a while since I've gotten to post...but i guess nothing too exciting has been happening....Well the revival has started!  I just got off the phone with one of my favorite Floridians, setting up plans to do some fishing while i'm there in a couple weeks.  In fact 2 weeks from today I will be on Lake Walk in Water with BASS pro Preston Clark.  Preston said the bass are starting to show some spawn activity and should be all over the beds by the time I get there.  We are both excited.

So expect a full play by play when I get back....might even have some Disneyworld highlights as well!

Have a great time! I sure did last year when I spent part of a day catching 7-8 lb'ers!  If you were going a month later maybe we'd bump into each other at Disney. But no fishing for me this time, darn it.

Well we got back late this passed Monday night...and I'm disappointed to report that my day on the water was nothing more than a boat ride with a pro.  If any of you noticed the weather last week in Florida you would know that there was a pretty significant cool spell that went through.  From Monday evening 1/19 thru Thursday 1/22 afternoon the temp didn't surpass 60 degrees.  There were 2 nights of heavy frost with temps throughout central Florida from 30 degrees all the way down to the teens.  That really puts a lock on the fish.  We met up and did fish Wednesday 1/21, we had to fish from a loaner boat as Preston had blew up his motor the day before while practicing on the Harris Chain for the upcoming Southern Open.  We headed to Lake Walk in Water and fished for 6 hours, cast after cast with ZERO bites or follows.  The temperature was 39 degrees along with a 25 mph wind...it was cold!  The water temperatures were hovering around 50 as well, the warmest water we found all day was 57 way back in a canal.  After talking to a Florida Fish and Game employee we headed over to Lake Reedy, where the fishing had been much better the previous week, we fished for an additional 4 hours or so, but with the same result, no bites or follows.  So that's it really, all for nothing.  It was just a day of chit chat, and thousands of casts.  Ho-Hum.... :-\'     :'(

YUP, and now you can't hate me as much... 8)

Preston does an awesome imitation of Larry the Cable Guy too, so it lightened the day.
