Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

the NBAA web site has a lot of next years schedules posted.  did not see any One on One Super evets listed.  any directors know if they are planning any.  good to know where i will be fishing on monday nights next summer.  only 6 months to wait. :'( :'( :'(

Sorry but there will be no One on One Super Qualifiers this year and the regular One on Ones are going to be a 5 tournament series.
When you are in any contest you should work as if there whereto the very last minute a chance to loose it.

Why no One on One Super Qualifiers????  The one on St. Clair was fun.  I remember at the one last year on St. Clair that the Tournament Director for them had to come all the way from Grand Rapids.  He wasn't too happy about it for some reason.  It is a long way to come from Grand Rapids to St. Clair, but it was a great day of fishing.  On the forum, I think he calls himself "squid".  The tournament was the day after the River Days Tournament out of St. Jeans and it was Michigan waters only.  Too bad if they don't have the One on One Super Qualifiers.

I will ask Jack Hornung about it at the Ultimate Fishing Show if I see him and then post his reply here.

Wasn't me...I was at the River Fest, so not to far for me to drive....lol....but hey, thanks for thinking of me. ;D ::)  I thought it was a tournament angler...can't remember though ???

was it finding a director?   I liked the idea of qualifying in one day for the championship.  Also it added 20 boats per event.  Are they going to up the percentage of qualifiers from the weekend events.   Looking forward to fishing them whatever they come up with.

Yes you were at River Fest, but didn't you direct the One on One the next day (Sunday) out of Harley????  You did tell me you called yourself "squid" on the day of the tournament.  Anyway it doesn't really matter.  I am disappointed that there will be no single qualifyier.  The Super Qualifier added 60 boats to the One on One Championship.  I hope they allow more boats per division although if they don't, that would be a less crowded lake if it is an inland lake championship.  Have the championship on big water and it doesn't matter how many you have as there are so many places to fish and the areas are so much bigger.

I apologize for the mix-up.  I thought you had come from Grand Rapids or somewhere west of Lansing.
