Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Looks like we will have the opportunity to showcase our products at this years Ultimate Fishing Show at the Novi Rock Financial Center Jan 8-11.

We will be in the KD Outdoors booth.  Come say hi and check out our hand poured 3" and 4" Gobys and the brand new Upskirt Jig.

While your there you can pick up some Lunch Money tubes from Lunch Money himself, Terry Melvin.  He has the stinkiest tubes i have ever seen....or smelled.  I threw a sample pack in my laundry room a couple of monthes ago and i can still smell the garlic to this day.  I dont even know where the tubes are but i know they are in there somewhere.  Make sure to pick up a pack of the Lunch Money color.  Best tube color on the market.  Just ask Cheetam!

And if you havent had the chance to check out what KD has to offer, you will be be impressed with there huge assortment of the top brands of rods, reels, tackle, line etc.  Ken and Mike are both great guys so make sure you stop and say hello.

Huge thanks to Ken and Terry for this opportunity.  Heres to a good show!

Cool.  I'm glad for you guys Brian that it's worked out.
If we miss Nemesis there, will you guys be at the Wonderland Marine show.
In fact, is Wonderland doing their Spring Fling Thing again this year?
So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

See you there then.  Will be in on Saturday for sure.

In the market for some new jigs too...  ;D
Addicted to fishing.  All the time, any species, anywhere!!  Especially in West Michigan!!!

I was in Chris' garage yesterday and saw some of the new jigs.
There are as I expected.  Great.
Chris and Brian are experimenting with different skirts.  All of which are really cool.  Very soft to the touch, and with just the right amount of flash. The type that they are using will also offer a nice bulk underwater, and provide a really sweet flair.

The jig head appears to me to be kind of like a football head turned sideways.  I like it. I think is will slide through the junk real nice.  I also like the hidden eye thing they have going on.  My guess is that this head could also be used to swim a jig.

I don't think anybody else is using the spring trailer keeper that they are, but I could be wrong.  The spring is kind of like what some companies use on their shakey head jigs.

Since jigging is my "technique to learn" this upcoming year, I'm gonna try these babies out.
