I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Well, maybe you don't because many of you are undoubtably thinking only about deer, but I'm thinking fall bass fishing in Michigan so Saturday morning shortly after 8 AM, I'll be talking about that and who knows what else with Duran Martinez, host of the AM Outdoors Radio Show on AM-730 The Game in Lansing Michigan.

If you're around and not out hunting or fishing, why not get up with a nice cup of coffee and listen in to Duran from 8 AM to 10 AM. You can even call in: Studio - (517) 363-2273.

Gooder news ;D AM Outdoors Radio is now syndicated on 6 stations across Michigan so you may still be able to listen and call in from other areas. I do not have the list of station call signs yet, but I know Duran is on in the Flint and Saginaw/Bay City areas too. And you can always go to http://www.amoutdoorsradio.com/ and listen online over the Internet.

You should be doing some fall bass fishing instead of talking about it!  That's one of the great things about hunting season for those of us that don't hunt---having the lakes all to ourselves!

I KNOW!!! We talked about that today. I was wishin' for fishin' and Duran was wondering why he wasn't out in the woods! As Stefano said, the more you do of this 'side' of the sport, the less you do of the actual doing side!

I haven't forgotten about a certain past offer. Been thinking about it a lot lately in particular...

Today was a good day to be on the radio.  I was working outside for several hours and it wasn't fun for even a minute.  I'll have to get some better "waterproof" hikers.

Normally the deer opener IS a day of bass fishing for me (last year we fished in the snow!).  This season it fell on a Saturday... which means I had to work.  Bummer.  I did get out the Sunday before and got a couple decent bass and several pike.
Addicted to fishing.  All the time, any species, anywhere!!  Especially in West Michigan!!!

I put the boat up last Thursday. The earliest ever. However looking at the weather and Benders snow covered boat it looks like I may have made the right decision.
