I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Whats the skinney on coffee tubes? Like em or not? Any better than any other tube?

joshimoto son

I've heard of some fellas liking them, but not that they actually worked better than others.

One of my very good friends had me make some 4" senkos with coffee in them and he swears by them. I swear by them too, but in a different way because he's used them to beat me out of a 1st place check on two occasions this year.

From the information I gathered this year. I would say that it would be worth buying 1 package in your favorite color and try them out. My belief woulld be that the worst you could do is "the same".

This reminds me I bought a package of them in the spring and have yet to try them.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Watermelon/red were good to me in the shorter size for smallies this year. The watermelon is a bit darker than standard watermelon. In the 4 1/4" is used the green pumpkin/chartreuse for flipping and had good success with them. The reason I got them at first was because they have a solid head for texas rigging, but the fish really ate them. I'll stay with them.

I also completely forgot that we have coffee scent that we can add to the baits too. I think we tried it once and if you put enough in so that the scent doesn't cook out it makes the colors a little darker, but so do the other scents to some degree.

I have fished the coffee tube a lot this year.  Excellent product.  They are every bit as good as the ISG Dream Tubes.  Certain colors for certain water colors.

recommend any particular colors for st. clair?

MBell

I don't like them that much.  They are a great tube, but I don't like the coffee scent.  I used them on beds this spring and regular BPS tubes worked better.  I only gave it a few hours and that was enough for me.

I've had good luck with natural-goby color by strike king on LSC .
