well guys, dad is on  his last few days on this earth. he was brought into the hospital today from the rehab home after his stomach was removed due to cancer. thought he was doing better but the doc said that his kidneys had shut down, he's gained 8lbs since friday noon and only got rid of 300 cc's. lasic was not doing what was hoped so now we are just making him cofortable.

the good thing is that God allowed dad to get his salvation in order before he was through with this life, so that's a praise. 5 grown kids in our family so pray for unity during this time.. thanks again..karol

Thoughts and prayers to your dad, you, and your family.

So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

Sorry to hear Karol. Definitely challenging times, but I know you can hold things together and help everyone make it through including yourself. It is times like this where we can find out what family really means. I'll be thinking of you and your family this week. I pray your father does not have a too difficult time of it.

Karol, our prayers go out to you, your dad, and you're whole family.  I pray for God's perfect peace to surround you during this time.  It's awesome to hear that your dad will be meeting God.  It's so encouraging to see God change a heart even in the last moments.  I'm reminded of when my mom accepted Christ a week or so before she passed of cancer in 88'.  That memory has become a source of strength and motivation to serve Christ over the past 20 years.  I pray that God encourages your heart likewise.

My prayers are with you. Having gone through that with my wifes mother in June, and my father 2 years ago, I know what you are going through. I pray God's hand will be on you and your family and He gives you all the strength in these times.

tuesday was Dad's home coming and today was the celebration of his life. i'm so thankful for all of your prayers this past week, never could have done it without them.

Dad loved harness racing, his love in life was to take care of the track between races at the elkhart county fair in Goshen which is the 2nd largest county fair in the country, we told his long time buddy that dad had passed away and he asked if it would be ok to mention it in the grandstands between races.

we said that would be fine and it was also senior day at the fair,
my in-laws were there and it was announced that"menno beachy had passed away and will be greatly missed". what a tribute to my DAD..wow!! this is the first year in a long time that he would not be there.

i asked his buddy who was doing this now and he said" nobody as good as menno.

so that's good. the last words that Dad said to me was on monday when he was still good was" i love karol.  what a way to go.. i love you DAD ..karol

Thank you for sharing that with us karol. I think it is always important to remember the good memories. To receive recognition like this is obvious acknowledgement of a great person important to many.
