Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Just how easy is it to buy from Benchley's GMC

As if I wasn't busy enough the week before my wedding, I get a call from my very good friend Wendy (Spinninbug and site sponsor Benchley's Buick, Pontiac, GMC) the tuesday before I am to say "I do".

At 5:30 pm I answer the call and she says " I know you're pretty busy, but you said you were looking to get rid of your Yukon and they're (GMC) running some very good deals right now."

I had a couple of minutes to run some numbers with her and it turned out to be a "no brainer" to upgrade to a 2008 GMC truck.

I asked her what I had to do and she said, "tell me what you want and I'll take care of the rest."

She was not kidding!

She found the truck I wanted by 11:00 am on Wednesday, we got the final numbers down and that was it. All I had to do was fax her my current registration on my Yukon and give her a GMS number from my soon to be father in-law who is a GM employee.

Wendy took care of all the financing, (new truck and old), cancelled my gap insurance on my Yukon and called my insurance company and switched it.

By Thursday everything was all set.

She drove my new truck down to me after work on Friday and at 10:30 Friday after my rehersal dinner she showed up at the house. It took less than 5 minutes to sign all the paper work and it was done.

It was effortless. I've had more issues trying to order a value meal at the MacDonalds.

If you want a very pleasant experience buying a vehicle, you will not go wrong giving wendy a call. You might even get to talk about fishing a little bit too.

Thanks Wendy!

Ditto for my current tow vehicle.  Everything went down exactly the same with the exception of the rehearsal dinner and wedding and I didnt trade in a Yukon.  :P

Thank you Josh and Brian.

That's what I'm here for,  to make it as easy as possible.  I'm glad I was able to help out both of you and make it as painless as possible!

Buying cars isn't something most people enjoy doing so I try to make it easy.

It was kind of fun getting and bringing you your new truck Josh,  how many people can say they delivered a new truck to the groom  right after rehersal dinner the night before his wedding?

Besides that we got a paid trip for the wedding!!!  It was a win win for both of us.

So Josh,  your very welcome!!

Part of me HATES going to car dealerships... I think I like this new Benchley way of buying :)

You'll get my first call when it's my time to get my next vehicle!

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Hey here's a couple of pictures of Wendy and spouse Terry at the Manistee Lake, $5,000 Tear Drop Bass Tournament Trail stop number 3.

Wow those fish don't look as big as they did when we caught them!! :D

When you're holding fish never have a bend in your elbow. The closer they are to the camera the bigger they look.  ;D
