Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Count me in, should be able to make it up to AuGres.  Hopefully we get a good field, should be great fishing that time of year.  I'm predicting 27lbs for six fish, someone will get it.

I hope everyone spreads the word, saginaw bay will be awesome!  I will be distributing 500 fliers to Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan.  I'm already getting some calls, so looking forward to a full field.  If you know of anywhere I should send fliers just let me know.

I'm meeting with Jon this afternoon, I will find out.  He told me he had reserved a pavillion at a park in AuGres but I don't know exactly where.  The tournament rules and more details should be posted this week.  The website will be updated regularly up until the tournament so check saginawbaybass.com for details.

Ok......thanks!    I'll keep checking the website.

As of now it's at the pavilion at the park across from H & H Bakery, right where m-23 crosses the AuGres river.  Don't remember but I think you'll have to be off the water by 6 for a 7 meeting.  It will all be in the rules to be posted shortly.

Jon is down in Indiana for the weekend, he asked me to post an update.  The website was updated last night with rules and info on the meeting location.  The rules are unofficial as of now but should remain the same.

Does anyone know if this tournament will qualify for contingency money?

Thanks

Not with Ranger, I guess it had to be done a year in advance through a dealer.  He got a late start on it this year and is planning on making this an annual event.  He's working on it for next year though.  Got my entry in looking forward to a shoot out, then up to Burt/Mullet for a week.  Are you fishing the TBF up at Burt/Mullet?  I know there is some ranger money at the tbf state championship and regional.
-Matt

BigSmallie

I'm not fishing the TBF........just the BFL.    I have a club tournament on Sunday the same day as the TBF.     I'm not a big fan of "draw" tournaments any way.........I'd rather fish by myself.

Just talked to Jon the tournament director.  He's been getting a lot of calls about the pre-tournament meeting.  He is also looking for volunteers to help with fish at the weigh-in.  Here is the meeting info...

Dakota Sports Saginaw Bay Open Pre-Tournament Meeting Friday May 30th, 2008

The Friday May 30th, 2008 Pre-Tournament meeting is scheduled for the pavilion at the Augres city park.  The meeting will begin at 7:30 PM Friday May 30th, 2008.  All contestants must be off the water by 6:00 PM and register between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM at pre tournament meeting location.  The Augres city park is located across from H&H bakery where the AuGres river crosses M-23.  Click the link below for details on the city of AuGres.

Just wondering how everybody did. I didn't see the results on their site. Power been off so I'm a little behind as always but that comes with age.

MBell

Only ended up with five boats, a couple cancelled at the last minute.  Jon took the entry down to $125 and 100% payback.  First Paid $500 and $125 for big bass.  The Penn brothers from Tawas won it with 26.5lb for six fish also had a 5 for big bass.  Me and my brother took 2nd with 24.5lbs.  There was also another boat who had 26lbs but they came in late and were penalized.  Was actually a good tournament even with the low turnout.  Will be a good event next year with more time to get the word out.
