I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

...or more boats fishing it! (look for our entry flyers soon!!)

If any of you own a company, work for a company, or know of someone that may be interested in donating for our special tournament please forward them my information.  I apologize I am using this site to solicit donations, but funds are getting harder and harder to come by.  Thank-you for your patience and understanding!

Below is our typical potential sponsor letter.

Team Bass Annual Charity Tournament
Sanford Lake- June 8th, 2008

Team Bass is holding its 10th annual charity tournament on Sanford Lake on June 8th, 2008.  Founded in Davison Michigan in 1991, Team Bass has taken an active part in the community.  Through projects such as casting Kids and Adopt-A-Kid, members haven given their time and resources to teach kids not only the elements of fishing, but also the importance of families spending quality time in the outdoors.

Team Bass's Adopt-A-Kid program began in 1993.  Every two years a young man who needs quality male role models is "adopted."  Applicants are selected from local boy's clubs and organizations.  The success of the program has drawn media attention, including an article on the front page of the sports section.

Team Bass is proud to hold the annual charity tournament on Sanford Lake.  Proceeds from the tournament will be donated to the Hurley Pediatric Burn Center in Flint.  Team members also hold a lakeside raffle with the proceeds contributed to Hurley Hospital.  Last year Team Bass was able to contribute $1500.00 with the assistance of local businesses participating in the tournament.  Sponsors who donate $100.00 will have their business card copied in the tournament flyer.  Donations of greater value will have the copy size of the business card enlarged.  The flyers will be distributed throughout the local community.  An additional bonus to sponsors is the free advertising via our web page, www.teambass.net.  Viewers of the web page can use our site as a bridge to yours!  Also, in 2005, two members of Team Bass appeared in a fishing segment on MUCC's (Michigan United Conservation Club) weekly television show, Michigan-Out-Of-Doors, which provided additional exposure for the charity tournament.

We have additional exciting events planned for this year.  Our club, per the request of the Children's Miracle Network, will be taking a few special youngsters fishing throughout the year.  CMN will also be on hand during our open tournament to photograph the events for their national newsletter.  It is our continued pleasure to support this outstanding organization.

If you would like to help this year, please drop me a line at either blakstr1@yahoo.com  or feel free to call me for more information at 989-213-5029. As always you can visit our website at www.teambass.net

Thanks again and please have a great day.
