I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

I put my 14' aluminum boat on Craigslist for $325 on Wed. afternoon. Got a couple emails and scheduled 2 "showings" by Thursday morning (I'm really starting to like Craigslist). So this morning the first "showing" took place... in the snow... standing in my backyard. Two young guys, maybe 17 years old showed up at 10:00 (they didn't have school today... so they were loving the snow!!). These are the kind of kids you like to do buisness with, and I am VERY happy I was able to sell them their very FIRST boat. My very first boat deserved to go to a couple kids looking for their first boat. They were all BIG eyed and giddy when they left. I really liked these kids... I even threw in a clamp down seat that I had in the basement because these kids were so nice, very polite young men and I am happy I could help them out. They are going to use it on the Thornapple above the Ada dam (one of the young men lives on the lake). Fishing and some duck hunting is their plan. AWESOME!!!

That's 3 great experiences with Craingslist this week alone. Tuesday I sold my Motorguide bowmount... later that same day I picked up an expandable, airline approved rod tube from a very nice older gentleman, and today I sold to kids their first boat. This is good karma, and man do I need it. Hey!!! Maybe someone's gonna offer me a job today!! Sweet!!!!!
Addicted to fishing.  All the time, any species, anywhere!!  Especially in West Michigan!!!

Just don't try to hire a hitman on craigslist.  That didn't go so well for the last lady who tried.  ;D  People never cease to amaze and entertain.

Seriously though, there's no one I'd rather sell a boat like that to than someone who will really appreciate it as their first boat.  Very cool.

That's a great story.  Sounds like a perfect boat for that stretch as the best smallie fishing is up where it gets pretty shallow - and the ski boats fear to tread.  :)

I'm on the pool above them and many times I wish I had a smaller boat or a heavy duty alumnimum one with a jet drive so I could get further upstream.

Good news is always better than bad news!! Thanks for sharing.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
