I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Okay... the good news is I got my first support contact from someone in Russia!?! The bass news is... it's in Russian!!! (I think) Can anyone here read Russian / Cyrillic?

I need a translation so I can find out what the issue is and respond appropriately (it seems to involve the constant pi ?!?). Could you also translate my response?? (And I apoligize to any Russian immigrants who may be offended if the message below happens to be inappropriate for this site - sorry.)

Exciting, huh?!?

It's an intercept that Kimmel made out on St. Clair when a Russian sub surfaced near him. They tossed out a vodka bottle with the note inside. If my Russian is correct it says something like, "Kimmel you suck. Our sonar shows you're sitting on a school of huge smallmouth and all you have in your livewell are dinkskis. In the mother land you'd be in the gulag after bringing in a stringer like that." Then they end the message with a question for him about which direction they should go to get back to the Atlantic.

I might  add that I only had one semester of Russian in college. I took it to avoid taking an English credit and there were only six people in the class, (one of which was my girl friend who was great with languages) and I figured they wouldn't flunk me because they needed people to go on to Russian II.

Russian sub would be more fun and intriguing than an automated spam message. With all my other run-ins with various branches of the law... I'm actually kind of surprised I haven't accidently stumbled into a Canadian goby smuggling operation or even been kidnapped by KGB submarinernauts (if that is a word??) while minding my own business in a blinding rain/sleet storm on Lake St. Clair in late October.

(I'm pretty sure that day my ghost spies were Canadian Coast Guard... but you never know. They could have just been disguised as CAN CG?? Or maybe they were just sitting thinking only a crazy American would be out in a little boat on cold miserable day like that trying to convince himself he's having fun?!? Come to think of it...?? That was the day I saw the mysterious mini-tidal wave sweep across a couple miles of the lake before suddenly vanishing of the surface??)

The number is Pi.  And Pi is not Russian.  It's Greek.  Being 100% Greek, and being fluent in the Greek language and of course the Greek Alphabet, I should know this about 3.14159.  3.14159=Pi.  Pi is also in algebraic terms.  Most algebraic terms are derived from the Greek language.

That's the first algebraic proof that I really seem to understand. I think they use to call Einstein "The Dude." I think we have a mathmatician in fisherman's clothing. Maybe...just maybe you're one of those guys off the sub that Kimmel got his message from.

I got all of that.  Unfortunately, those of us that got married flunked that lesson.  Because if we would have stayed single, we would have all had big houses, 20 foot bass boats, and a really cool tow vehicles.

Skeeterman, let's try to get you in a Dodge.  Then you won't have to tell the story.  Chrysler may bring back the Employee Choice which means I could get you a vehicle for what an employee of the company pays.  We'll talk as soon as the company brings it back.
