I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Just like a lot of IT geeks I know(sorry Dan) he's fallen off the deep end.
My fiance' works with his wife (hence the blind they set us up on) and he had written a letter to his wife Stacy.
The letter reads:

"My dearest Stacy,
I can't take it no longer, I do not feel that I am the man I need to be when it comes to performing as a tournament bass fisherman.
I must leave you for a spell and seek out my inner small mouth.
Please tell te kids I love them and I will be back as soon as I can.

Love, Brian"

Brian was reported to be last seen sitting (in a meditational position)in Rick Clunn's front yard wearing nothing but his life vest, holding a sign stating "Teach me to fish or I will hack your website!"

Rumour has it that he has been seen as the poster child on the Take Me Fishing website.  "Take me fishing because I will lose my wife and family sooner than I think...................... :'(."

He's a funny one.

Truth be told, I haven't been keeping up on the forums too much.  Stacy and I bought a new house in the fall that has been keeping us busy.  Man I don't care how nice the house is that you buy, the wife is going to want everything different.  I've been putting a lot of hours in at the base as well - 10 days of 12 hour shifts just last week rewiring a building.  Then you add the new Siberian Husky pup, trips to Kalkaska to the parent's, the holidays and general depression of hard water where there used to be milfoil.  Motivation to do anything just goes right out the window!

With all that money going from my pocket to the all mighty economy, I was forced to put off my plans to fish the FLW Series Eastern division this year as a co-angler.  What that means is I'm looking for a co-angler to link to for the Michigan BFL's this year.

Stacy,

Josh is full of crap.  As I promised you before I left - I am wearing those thongs you bought me at the Lion's Den, not a life vest.  Don't worry about me, I'm doing fine.  I've got plenty to eat.  Rick is a very generous man.  He's thrown the table scraps off the porch from 2 of the 3 meals I've watched him eat from his dining room window.  A true ambassador of the sport.

Let Josh know that as far as the internet community knows - he is no longer affiliated with that lure company.  I've removed every trace of evidence from the world wide web.

Love,

Brian

P.S.  If you could also let Josh know I am grateful that he left the fire pit in the front yard from his Mecca to here last year.  What a guy.

Congrats on the new house.  You can now join the rest of us who dump dollar after dollar in their homes.  Did you really think your lovely bride was going to leave that new house as is???? ???  You will be spending big $$$ for at least a year.  Then the house will eat into your fishing $$$.  Then.....God forbid....she will say something like........."maybe we should sell the boat and redo the kitchen".  Good luck getting out of that one.  Keep the boat, sell the bride.......in the long run the bride will cost you more.  Actually, since you have a kid now too, you will have to keep the bride because she gets half of everything anyway.   :'(   I did say in another blog one time.......If Momma's happy everybodies happy, if Dad is happy.........Who cares?   So keep her happy because now you risk losing.........house, car, boat.  Good luck.

Oh yeah, I will be happy to let you in on my secrets to a happy marriage.  So here it is.  Marry a woman who's father was a fisherman like I did.  That is why I get to fish 100+ days a year.  My Father-in-law was an avid fisherman and would fish with his brother-in-laws every week both Saturday and Sunday all spring, summer, and fall.  I am lucky enough to have those same opportunities.  I think it may be too late for you though.

Actually, as Josh can attest to, I am one of the lucky ones.  My wife goes camping and fishing with me.  I pretty much get to fish all I want.  Just please dont tell her I said that  :P

She actually is trying to force me to dump money into an account for fishing.  Now that's a woman!

I'm the one who is no good at saving.  I spend spend spend.
