Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

I set us back a couple dozen a few weeks ago by culling out some old ones that seemed to not be used or valid anymore. I think I'll hold back a prize for member 1,000 later this year...?? Maybe??

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

We should have a contest. Members have til a certain date, say Feb. 28th, to give their guess as to when the 1000th member is going to join Say I guess July 4th at 10:13pm, the closest guess to the minute will receive a prize and so will the 1000th member. What you think of that? I'll donate to the cause  ;)

Sounds good to me. I need to start a contest for next week for a great prize (you'll be familiar with ;D). I can always run another, longer contest in conjunction with it. It will probably take a while for a winner of the contest you suggest, but not long for the other contest.

If Lola signs up, then I'll sign up Sadie and Roxie.  Sadie is my Springer Spaniel and Roxie is my Boston Terrier.  Sadie is a real good outdoor dog and has been fishing with me.  Roxie however is a little hyper and I am afraid that if I hook a fish and she sees it splashing that she will go in after it.   :P
