Subject: EPA NEWS: ExpectMore.gov Website

I am pleased to announce the launch of a new government Web site, ExpectMore.gov.  This Web site provides the public with candid, easy-to-understand assessments of federal programs.  By making this information more accessible than it has been in past years, taxpayers can see what we, as a government, are doing to improve program performance.  We want the public to hold us accountable for how our programs work, and we want everyone to know how we're doing.

ExpectMore.gov includes summaries of the assessments of the nearly 800 federal programs assessed to date.  This includes approximately 43 EPA programs.  Each summary provides a program overview, some of the key findings of the assessment, and the follow-up actions agencies are taking to address those findings and improve program performance.  Each summary also links to the full program assessment details, the program's Web site, and the search results for similar federal programs.

We are responsible for being both good stewards of our nation's environment and good stewards of our nation's tax dollars and this site will help share our programs' results with the nation.  I encourage you to visit http://www.expectmore.gov.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
