Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Well, it must be all the huge sacks coming in from St. Clair getting anglers excited, but FLW HQ (TD Anthony Wright) tells me he needs 20 boaters in a bad way to get all the co-anglers out fishing!

If you haven't heard, St. Clair is putting out a ton of big limits right now - the river AND the lake both. Maybe the best fishing since 1998-9!

If you haven't already signed up for this Saturday's BFL at Elizabeth Park, please do so now and help get a fellow angler out for a great day of fishing.

Tell FLW that Dan Kimmel talked you into signing up as a boater this week for the Michigan BFL and said Anthony Wright will pay your late fee. This week only for boaters only. So you can get in for the regular price AND whack a big limit too!

Call 270-252-1000 or enter online at http://bfl.flwoutdoors.com and thanks a bunch!

Just curious Dan, whats the water look like up there with all this rain we've had?

It didn't look bad sunday nite, but it may be ugly by now...You may be able to get more up to date info on water conditions at lakestclair.net.

C'mon... give me some credit moto...

My sources tell me that the water is ugly muddy but as usual clearing out fast. St. Clair has one of the fastest water exchange rates in existence with all the current and the channelization. With some northerly winds, the channels and north half of the lake can clear up a ton in 1 to 3 days.

I'll see if I can get some specifics later tonight or tomorrow.
