Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Just before the October Natural Resources Committee meeting on Thursday, October 9, Commissioner John Walters added an amendment to Fisheries Order 206 – “Bass - Closed bass CIR season from May 1 – Friday before the third Saturday in June for Burt, Mullet, Crooked, Pickerel, and Black Lakes and their connecting waters.”

Wonerland Owners and Stratos Owners Tournaments

They announced last year at the Stratos Championship that they will no longer have a Stratos Owners tournament.

The Wonderland owners tourny is Sunday Sep 16th..  If you have any questions, call the store (800-226-3050).  There was no Stratos owners tourny for 07.  Hopefuly it will be back next year.

Wonderland Owners Tournament
September 16th Harley Ensign Ramp (Lake St. Clair)
Meeting Saturday Sept. 15th 6:00pm  Reg is from 3-4:30
Door prizes for everyone.
Entry is $50 if you enter after Sept. 11th there is a $25 late fee.
You can call the store and register over the phone with a credit card.
Launch site is Harley Ensign on Lake St. Clair.
Pay Back is 80% the other 20% goes to the Shriners Childerens Hospital.
