I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Well... actually my brother... actually Lansing Old Town. Here's what I know:

"I recently learned that Old Town in Lansing is entered in a video contest by Ikea. Its called Small Businesses, Big Dreams.

Entries are supposed to tell about the community, promote the businesses, share your visions, and show off the storefronts. The video voted most creative will win a team of designers who will help to transform the interior space of up to 10 businesses.

Old Town is currently leading, with 3,390 votes (over 4,000 now I think)! Buts its only 259 (about 200 now) more then the next closest. I think all of you should vote for it.  It only takes a second to register and do it, plus the contest ends in just 3 more days (Wednesday, 8/22)!  Also maybe forward this to other people who care about the area.  Here's the link: http://ikea.shycast.com/contest/1/ "

Old Town is the original Lansing downtown. I think it represents where we came from and maybe how we can get things right again. Some pretty neat people are trying to remind us what makes America great and I don't think anyone is doing it any better than Lansing's Old Town.

I voted for Old Town. I used to love that area when I worked in Lansing.

So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

Yes THANKS!!! - my brother never told me if he was happy or not? Guess I better call him - he's less than half my age - kids nowadays!

They are really working hard on the Old Town - nice to see some things getting better.
