I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

I know someone brought this up a little while ago, but i havent seen it brought up again since.

Lets do it.  Last year was a blast, although i dont recall many of doing much swapping of any sorts.  Maybe this year will be different.

Start throwing out some dates that work for you guys.  And locations.  last year we did it in the Fountain Walk parking lot.  The manager of Hooters okayed us but never cleared it with the mall security.  They werent very happy about us being back there so we had to pack it up early and head in to Hooters for delicious wings and beer.  what a shame.

If you guys want to do it at Fountain Walk again, i will talk to the managers again and make sure they clear it with those spuer friendly seciruty fold.  Or we can plan on doing it somewhere else.

Feedback people, I need feedback.

Dates, times, locations.

i have $ 5.00 i won off a " friend "   fishing..   maybe we should meet at HOOTERS to discuss the location.

41 views and Stevil Knievil is the only response???

Ok steve, looks like its me and you on this one.  What day and time shall we at Hooter to discuss the logistics of the swap meet?

Maybe we can talk Kev into going, too.

Make on a Sat and I will see if I can make it.

I'm all for that same location since I missed it last year and still haven't met to many people. I'm in Oakland county.

I thought Fountain Walk worked well.  The trick is to get Fishon to show up early with all those great soft plastics he brought.  ;D  I was bummed I had to leave just as he was showing up with all those goodies.

I don't have much to swap, but I'd be there.

Fountian Walk in Novi?  I would like to make it.  Weekends in the summer a tough because I am fishing but if it isn't tournament day then I would do my best.  The swap part will be a lot of work going through all my stuff but I am sure I can find a "few" things I don't use.  I have some things I was going to sell on Ebay that I save until after the swap and meet.

How about getting one of the picinic pavillions at Kent Lake. We could turn it into an all day event with some fishing, a Family BBQ, and swapping some lures. I dont know the cost of the pavillions, but I am sure they are pretty cheap. It could be like a giant GLB family picinic swap meet athon.
Just an idea.

I like the idea.  But it cuts Hooters out of the picture.  Oh well.  Whats everyone else think?

Either way I am up for it. I don't think I have anything I want to part with but I may pick some things up, darn bait monkey won't get off my back.

Edit: Doh! Money is the part of the equation that is missing because of the monKey, darn keyboard! See what that monkey did again! He gets ahold and doesn't let go, he must have gotten in my mind now.

I'll take some of that bait money off your back if you got to much Chris.

I like the Kent Lake idea.
Heck, I'm up for most anything.

Somebody set it up and I'll try and be there.
So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.
