Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Long story short, I was gonna sign the paperwork for a new boat this week and the day I was as happy as could be, I find out my pay is cut by about 25%, so no boat for the moment. Anyways, I live in Lansing but would be willing to drive most anywhere just to get out, friend of mine is getting a boat soon, but it till be at least 3 weeks before we get out on his, and I'm dying here...Saturday or Sunday works, just looking to make a new friend and see new lakes, was really hoping to fish alot this year and do some open team tourneys, but with my boat deal a no go, and the friends boat deals taking a while, I'm hoping to get out 5 times this year now.

I live in Jackson and my boat will be finished next week mid week.   I'll be out on the lake all weekend.  The down side is unless you like to troll at varying speeds between 3000 and 4500 rpms changing rpms every 2 minutes for 5 to 10 hours straight, you wont be able to fish.  :P

I could've used you today, I got stood up and as luck would have it  caught a 6.5 lb'er; no one to take a picture. I'm in the Sanford area, about 1 1/2 hr drive for you. I fish mainly wixom, sanford, secord, five lakes,  & saginaw bay not sure if you want to drive that far, but I usually have room.

James, if you're willing to drive over to the East side to fish St. Clair, I'm out there a couple times a week.  Perhaps a Friday or Saturday would work.  Next Saturday is the DK Open, so I'm booked up, but I'll be on Clair the following Saturday.  And the Saturday after that, and the Saturday after that, and the Saturday after that, and the Saturday after that......

PM me if you want to fish St. Clair.

James,
The ABA is having a tournamment this coming Sunday on Kent lake and they are looking for a bunch more non-boaters and A member of this board Dartag is looking for a non-boater to sign up with.

It would cost you about $90 to fish the tournament, but you would have a great chance at winning almost $800. They will be going out of the west boat ramp on sunday morning with check in from 5:00 am to 6:00am .
There is a post below in the ABA section. Check it out. You will have a great time and meet lots of real good fisherman

Kevin- Thanks for the pointer, I am looking into it right now, good luck down in SC this weekend. I've got a few things in the workings to try and get to the point I can seriously talk to you about the 176xt again, soon enough I keep tellin myself  ;D ;D

Everyone else, I will definitely get in contact with a few of you guys to get out on some lakes that way this year, over here in Lansing there isn't a whole lot of great fishing in the immediate area, and all I ever hear about is the east side lakes doing well, so I will make the drive this summer sometime.

Thanks all, hope to meet up with some of you soon.

Anthony Adams

I am always looking for someone to go practice with so drop me a line.

You could fish the ABA as a non-boater at 70$ per event (this includes Big bass) The pay outs are great and the ABA has a ton to offer the average angler... if you end up getting a boat you can switch to boater and your point will transfer ..

The ABA format is allot of fun and we have some great fishermen with us.

Give a shot and I think you will like what you find.

Anthony- Fished with you guys this past Sunday, had a blast (was paired up with Jeff Cox), I will definitely be down for a few more, was a good experience for myself and I learned a ton out there...oh BTW, I still wanna know how I can get boats to "try" like you...lol

Anthony Adams

I am glad you enjoyed it .....

Keep fishing and maybe someday a boat deal will come for you.
