Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Just curious.  Who from our club is fishing the DK Open?

Also, I'm planning on doing some practice out on St. Clair Saturday (May 5).  Anyone want to come along?  So far, I'm planning on fishing alone, but will be happy to take someone out with me for the company.  If not, I'll ask the Mrs.

Langer,

If you want to go to St Clair on Saturday do not let me stop you. We can always make it another time. It would be a good chance for you to learn a few spots.

Thats ok Thomas, I cant be out all day Saturday, so its best I stick close to home. Give me a call tomorrow with the scoop for Saturday, if its in the evening I will most likely be out on Kent Lk, but will have my phone with me.

Sorry, can't do Sunday.  :(  I'd love to, but as you can imagine, church takes up pretty much my whole Sunday.  A preacher's work is never done.  If you want to get out during the week though, I may be able to work something out.  I'll also be out next Friday.

I will be there.

Assuming that somebody's going to give me directions to avoid the areas that are being worked on by the road crews.

The morning shouldn't be a problem.  If you're coming from the West and taking 696 to 94, you can get off at Metro Parkway and get to Harley Ensign from there.  It's the way home that'll be a little slow potentially, but the construction is about a mile North of Metro Parkway, so it won't be a problem.

Directions to Harley Ensign:
From the West, take 96 to 696 East and take that all the way to 94.  Merge left onto 94 East.  Take that to Metro Parkway and exit.  Get in the right lane and turn right (East).  Take that to Jefferson (the entrance to Metro Park) and turn left onto Jefferson.  Take that a mile or so until it ends at a 'T'.  Turn right onto South River Road.  Take that until it ends at Harley Ensign.  That's the ramp.

From the North, just take 94 West to Metro Parkway and turn East.  Follow same directions as above.  Note: If you're coming from the North, 94 will go down to 1 lane for a few miles before you get to Metro Parkway.  But that early in the AM, it shouldn't slow you down.
