I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

For the first time, I just bought a fishing license online from the DNR.  Wow, was that ever easier than finding the time to run over to the sporting goods store to get one.  I just printed it up and I was all set.

Just in case anyone's interested, check it out at:
http://www.mdnr-elicense.com/welcome.asp

Print yourself an extra copy and keep it somewhere just in case you lose your original.

I did the same thing the other day. I also printed a couple extra copies. 1 to keep in the boat, 1 to keep in the truck, 1 to keep in my wallet, I may even throw one into my tackle bag just in case. I plan on laminating all of them for added protection.

I laminated mine also.  I was a little concerned the toner may wear off if folded up in my wallet all summer.  Plus I figured I'm bound to fall in the water eventually.  Man did I ever come close a few times last year.  DOH!  :P

This was the second year I used the e-license,  Man what a great service from the DNR. 5 minutes and I was done.  I fold mine up and put it in a small ziploc bag that goes in the tackle box.

I have to give CKev a hard time because he is like a major computer geek, but yet he spends 25 minutes at Walmart getting a fishing license.   :D :D :D

I've done it as well.  But... I know a guy who didn't quite understand how it worked.  He ended up buy 3 licenses for his wife.
The DNR would not refund the extra money either.
So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.
