Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

How limited is the lake coverage of these Navionics cards?  Will they cover jsut the big lakes, or can you get Paw Paw, Magician, the likes of those on there also?  Looked at the website and could not find a list of lakes, maybe somebody on here knows where I can find that at.  Thanks for any help.

Call D and R Sports  800-992-1520 and have one of the salesman read off the list of lakes from the MI card.  It has a ton of lakes and some that you would never expect.  I am not sure if the Navionices website lists them individually or not.

On another note.  Do not expect them to be "exact"  I have experienced some real weird differences.  But that was 3-4 years ago and they were asking fisherman to submit the differences so they could fix them.  It would put you in the area though so it was a big help on lakes i was unfamiliar with.

ex.   on muskegon the card showed me driving my boat on land 25 yrds on shore when I was really drving right down the midde of the channel going out to the big lake.

I have the Navionics and the LakeMaster chips.  LakeMaster is WWWWWWWAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY more accurate, but they don't cover quite as many little inland lakes.  Navionics has more lakes for that and it is a start.

Hands down - go with LakeMaster
