Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

I have a small fishing boat that I am working on to be better suited for bass fishing, until I can afford to get a bass boat.  I am interested in installing a recessed trolling pedal tray but would not like to pay over $100 bucks to do so.  Are their cheaper ones on the market? or better yet, plans to make my own?  I really don't like the idea of paying that much to put into a boat I don't plan on keeping long.  Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

I don't know of anything else on the market. I have seen the metal pans though and they do look nice.  The one I saw even came with a drain tube to run the water down and out.

One of these days, I'm going to build a "positive" out wood and plastic auto body filler.  Then, I'm going to lay up fiberglass batt against it and make my own.  It really shouldnt' be that hard to do.

I just don't want to lose any fishing time at all during the warm months.

So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

Some one on another site took a Stainless Steel Sink they found on clearance, one of the double basin ones, cut it in half and used half of it for the tray, it looked alright, I would have to paint it black or something because the Glare would blind ya if the light hit it right.

Just get ya a cinder block and set it down next to the foot pedal.  One foot on the cinder block, the other on the foot pedal.  Makes it feel like a recessed pedal!!!
