Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Does anybody know if you can buy a Gator Mount for any model Motorguide trolling motor? If so, where? My buddy has a Motorguide tm, Brute 767 on his boat and there is alot of play in the bracket when the tm is in the water. Even at slower speeds the mount rocks back and forth when you hit the pedal, making all kinds of noise. All the bolts and/or screws are tight, including the ones that bolt it to the boat.

Any suggestions or help in this matter would be appreciated.

Peace.
It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.

Just google it and you will come up with a few stores that carry them.  I usually order from a motorguide service center or you can get them on ebay.  Tackle service center in Indiana has always been good to me.  Remember they now have the gator mount II with bigger pins, those will be more expensive.  I have a gator mount I that came with my backup trolling motor if your looking to buy used.

Speaking of Motorguide mounts, anyone know if MG plans to come out with something similar to Minn Kota's lift assist to take the weight off the motor when you pull it up?  I'd be very interested in one because I seem to break the rope several times a year.  Grr.
