Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Who still uses their side scan fairly regularly?  I had it on my old boat, then when I got my fiberglass Ranger it didn't come with it.  I didn't replace it for several years.  I finally got it back on my boat I got in the fall.  Man, I didn't realize how much I missed it until I put back on this boat.  I was scouting around Lake Erie and came across a couple old wrecks on the bottom that I never knew were there.  I had my ice fishing camera with me, and I was able to drop that down as well and get a decent look at it with the fish around it.  I have to say it was my highlight of fishing year so far.  I think I enjoy finding something new to fish as much as catching a big one sometimes.  This spot did hold good smallmouth too.

That sounds exciting for you! I know there are a few books out there by divers about Great Lakes, and even Lake Erie, shipwrecks that can be interesting and valuable resources. I've fished a few and dropped video on them though more in St. Clair and other places than Erie.

Question: My automatic video embedder does not have code for Rumble. Do they by any chance have embed code where you could show the video right here? Or maybe you're prefer not to do that? Not a big deal. Just wondering. Thanks!

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Dan,  I'm not sure why I don't get email notifications on replies.  I just now seen the alerts at the top of this page.  I've tried a few of the embed codes and they haven't worked.  Let me post them in here and maybe you can figure out something.  They show up on other forums.  See if any of these work.

The automatic video embedder I added to this forum has over 120 different video embed codes it can recognize, but Rumble isn't one of them.

That embed link could work if the video embedder programmer would add it as an option. He may one of these days. I cleaned out the script code and kept the embed link only in your response because that's probably all that would be needed. Not sure if the regular links you share would work with embedder script even if he wanted to add it based on how his code appears to work.

No big deal. If it gets added one of these versions I will make a mention of it.

As far as the email notifications about post updates, Gmail likes to block those or send them to spam because they think it might not be legitimate regardless that I have the email set up to show it is real and not spam. Gmail does a better job sometimes blocking good email than it does bad email. For me anyway. If you have your spam settings set to strict or high, or whatever Gmail's version of that is, it will probably block a lot of website email that comes from the actual domain. But even at medium, some people have problems getting some website email. I can't really do anything more about that other than pay a bunch of money to send email through a paid email service. Even that doesn't get all of your email through Gmail, Yahoo, Aol and the other big email providers. Thanks to all the rotten spammers out there who never give up.

Thanks Dan.  I just played around with another one for a quite a while.  Rumble has 4 different ways to embed it and none worked unfortunately.  I'll just try to include a thumbnail when I can.  Thanks for the reply.  It's much appreciated.
