Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Here is a couple minutes of video shot the day of our Hot Ponds.  Dan Holland was along but was camera shy.

Firefighter Jeff

Enjoyed the video, thanks for posting. Liked that you included the local residents.  LOLOL    Such a nice smooth compact cast.

What happened to the shot of my eight pounder?

The Smooth Cast was to keep it out of the trees.  Which we did quite a bit.

Sorry about the Eight Pounder.  The footage ended up on the Cutting Room Floor.

Looking through the File Footage and I think I found a still of the 8 Pounder.   Looks a little smaller on camera.   Maybe 7-15.

What? No movie music soundtrack?!? ;D

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Been sayin it for a while, the Bob O CCBR just makes it too easy ! I have both a Bob O shallow and a deep CCBR in med and med heavy, both 7'4" with med tip. They lay over effortlessly when you hook up and I use 10 lb floro.

Steve- what rod did you go with ? Have you lost a fish yet with the Bob O Custom yet ?
Thanks Dan for bringing year round Catch and Release to Michigan

dartag

Not sure the rod specs except it was a 7.0 MH. It has the Winn Grips which are nice when they get wet.    I used 17 pound Floro because the way I fish there with the Series 5.  I want it to dive deep fast as soon as the bait hits the water.   A lot of the fish we caught that day hit as soon as the bait hit the water.   Also the line makes it easier to get back from the snags and overhead trees.

I did lose some fish but I think it was because the hooks were getting dull and bent up because of catching so many fish.   Boat flipping the bigger ones didn't help.  No net in the boat when fun fishing for me.
