I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Where did Kevin Vida go? Is he still fishing the FLW tour? With a Detroit River tour event he would be a favorite.

Pkleppert

Yep, he's still fishing the FLW Tour out of the Banana Boat.  I wouldn't be against him in Detroit this summer.

Reason why I'm asking he was pretty quiet last year and at a Stren weigh in he was hinting about retiring since his finishes weren't that good.

$58K and some change isn't bad.  It could be burn out as last year was the first time he didn't fish the Strens as well as the tour.  With Detroit River on the schedule, I seriously doubt he would miss this year!

blakstr1

One of our Team Bass members saw him up near Saginaw at a gas station a few weeks ago, bringing his new Banana Boat Ranger home, I'm sure he'll be ready to hit it this year

Wow - Kevin finished 2nd for the entire event? That would be great for him. I haven't had time to look yet.

I should have looked on the FLW page before I posted. Would be nice a Michigan boy on top.

josh617

he's tied for 2nd after day one with 13lbs, there's alot of northern guys in the top 10, Wendlandt was leading it with 17 something, so much for home lake curse.

motocross269

My Boater link from BFL is in Texas..Andrew Lemle..He is fishing as a Co-Angler..He caught 14 ounces the first day..Not what he wanted, but I am sure he will move up..It was pretty cool I timed it just right and got to watch him weigh in on FLW Live..The announcer was giving him a hard time about having the lowest weight..He is fishing with Jason Knapp.

djkimmel

Man!... kick a guy when he's down... ;D

Andrew struggled a little bit again today with one fish...But it is better than a goose egg and at least he scored some points.  He is fishing all of the FLWs so every little point counts.   I haven't seen Kevin Vida weigh in yet.
It looks like Stricker may cash a check

Dan

Don't know Vida except the name. Have talked with Kim Stricker and he is a great guy. Best of luck to both of them and the rest of the MI contingent.

Looks like Vida slipped down to 11th today..Still Pretty good.
When you are in any contest you should work as if there whereto the very last minute a chance to loose it.

Kevin is one of the nicest anglers you could ever meet.
