I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Ok...Good stuff on my last post, so here's a follow-up:

You have TWO 3700 Plano boxes you can take on your next trip.  You do NOT know where you are fishing, you only know that the lake has bass.  What do you pack in your boxes and why?
Jeff

Slick

Assorted colors of spinner baits, that was always my sure thing for large mouths and drop shot rig it works great for perch and I cant wait to try it for bass.. Sorry I dont have a  whole lot to add but I am getting there.. Cya Slick

i would make my first box for crank baits and jerk baits difrent colors and sizes u could fit two to three lures in each cubby if u space it right. the second box would be a combo of spinnerbaits and jigs. i hope i helped and that is what i would bring

Skip Johnson

geeze jeff are you serious with this? just throw some roostertails in your pocket and lets go fishing :D

i think Jeff has cabin feaver.

i would take some Senkos, Flukes, Goby baits, Spittin Kings, Hooks, Drop shot weights,  Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwhiches,  Money to go to HOOTERS.  ( PB may be coming along also ).  thats about all i have in my boat.

Actually I fish most of time with only 3 3700's anyway.  If I had to pare it down to two, and not have the pockets of my tackle bag then this is what I'd do.

Senko type stick baits.  Green Pumpkin, Yum Dinger green pearl laminate, grey white laminate.

Tubes - Combat Fishing Green w/ purple & gold, Emerald shiner or Goby, Canadian Mist, and a crawfish color.

Fluke type baits.  Really only need white. (zoom or Strick-9 shiner)

Terminator spinnerbait, one white skirt, one white-chartreuse skirt, one brown like skirt.
Chatterbait
A walk the dog type surface bait. (spook, sammy)
A popper surface lure
Rattle trap 1/2 oz, minnow color, and a red one if it's spring.

Jerk baits.  Black back/silver, clown, firetiger
Crank baits bomber 6a white, 6a green craw
Fat Free shad deeper diving crank
LC pointer 78 white
LC point 100 ghost minnow, aurora black or rouges depending of time of year.
Chompers Twin tail skirted jigs.  blue/black.

Terminal tackle: hooks for senko's and flukes, jigs for tubes, pre-rigged Carolina Rig, drop shot hooks, and weights. Snap swivels.

And then I'd have to put a can of Bang garlic spray in my pocket since it won't fit in the boxes.  Fishing pliers on my belt.

And most importantly.  I'd have this big ole smile on my face.  Why?  Cause I'd be FISHIN'!.  And not sitting here looking out the window at a bunch of snow.

Cheer up bunkie.  There's only about 10 weeks to go till Bass Season.
So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

 Good post:

Alright I would take Watermelon Red Flake 5" worms with red # 2 OCThooks.
Tube baits with # 3 hooks (tube hooks)
Yamamoto hula grubs with 1/4 oz jig heads
Two topwaters: Popper R, and a Sammy
Frog
Drob shot/ shaky head rigs
Bullet sinkers and beeds
two silver and black jerkbaits
two white spinnerbait
one Chatter bait
four Jigs, black/black, white/whiteblack, Green/ black, and brown/brown
Your either getting better or worse you never just stay the same
