I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Has anyone fished intermediate lake?  Up north by torch lake.  I've heard it's good for smallies.  Let me know if you have any info on this lake.   I am going up there next week for the week with family.

I've fished it. Lots of smallies for sure. If you go north up the chain up will run into largemouths.
I fished it a month ago and noticed tons of crayfish, so tubes along the breaks. Guys said that topwater was hot and cranks.

I fished it for a week last year on vacation and did pretty well.  Southern end of the lake or there is also a couple other areas that you can clearly see if you look a satellite imagine of the lake.  Like T Bone said breaks are the best.  I caught most of mine on dropshots.  fun lake.

6 lb Smallmouth

I fished it last Saturday and it was tough.  Slept in and didn't go out till around 10 AM.  I fished the prime spots and saw a lot of smallies cruising and they wanted nothing to do with baits.  Talked to another boat and he said the same thing.  Caught a few pike.  After 4 hours, I left.  I heard that Intermediate was fishing very well this spring.  Did much better on East Bay Sunday.

Nothing beats Great Lakes Smallmouth!

I haven't been there in a number of years but it was decent for smallies at times though it could get real tough all of a sudden. Luckily, there are those largemouth bass in the upper lakes too for a break, or something different.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
