Hey guys,

I am heading up to Hubbard Lake this weekend and was wondering if its worth hitting Thunder Bay.  I have
fished Hubbard, Long, Grand and Fletchers but have never tried the Bay.

Let me know what you think and if you know what stage they are in out there, Spawn, Post Spawn, etc.

Thanks

Don't know much about what is going on at Thunder bay right now...I have only had luck in the spring there...but your Flat tracking Avatar rocks.....

A couple of buddies and I fished Thunder Bay about a month ago. We fished in front of Lafarge. Then fished Sulphur island and Partridge point and the bay to the west of Partridge. It all looked really good but we didn't have much luck. We caught lots of drum, two tiny smallmouth and a walleye. We did catch some nice ones on Grand and Hubbard while we were up there. If you go I would like to know how it went.

The water temps a month ago were low to mid 60's

Thanks Guys,  appreciate the updates.
I will let you know how I do.

Motocross269, thanks, that is a pic from about 9-10 years and 30lbs ago.  Raced my
entire life into my 30's.

Hey guys,

Things were pretty good on Hubbard.  Only got out 3-4 times but every time I caught fish.  Biggest ended
being 4 somethin.  Water clarity was better than I have ever seen.  Could see the bottom in 16ft of water
This also made it easy to spot dark patches (weeds).  The north end of the lake was probably the most consistent.  I was able to target dark spots and there was usually fish on them.
